The curriculum-centered paradigm has John Locke and Skinner as roots. Then came the learner-centered paradigm, diametrically opposed to the former. Both are one-dimensional and limited. This paper proposes a synthesis.

I am 43 years old, happily married and has a 9-year daughter. I got my Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees all from the University of the Philippines.
